有一次在彩虹來了閒聊中說到了燒烤，Mavis提到國華街上的這間伙大燒烤舖，米厝自從東寧路上俗俗的賣旁邊的無名燒烤攤收起來後，就一直在尋找可以取代它的店家，這段時間也光顧了很多店家，不過總是覺得少一味，就在試了這間伙大燒烤舖後，女王說：「就是這間了，終於找到了，以後燒烤就來買這間。」
菜單，價錢都寫在上面，你看看那蔬菜類一串只要10元，是不是很吸引人啊！而且最厲害的是，伙大把雞肉分成好幾種，其中最特殊米厝必點的就是膝軟骨，這就是人家口中說的那個【骨輪】，肉中有軟骨，吃起來很有感覺，非常滿足。
放在一旁的備料，伙大都是小量烤製，不會一次烤很多再堆疊在一起，而其他備料就放在一旁的冰箱裡，這當中最搶手的應該是烤腿肉，晚來常常買不到，右手邊那白色的是魷魚，很特別，也很好吃。
老闆，快手燒烤。
伙大用【醬】的手法真的不簡單，針對不同的食材調整，有的食材要口味重些，有的則要強調食材本身的味道，伙大都有做到。
最下面的是七里香，中間的是無骨雞腿，再來應該是梅花肉串，上面那個是咖哩雞柳，七里香非常厲害，外層酥脆，而咬下後卻又軟嫩，一個接一個，而中間那隻最搶戲的無骨雞腿，烤的也是恰到好處，外表焦香，腿肉多汁，而且醬料下的非常好，不會搶去雞肉本身該有的味道，豬肉串烤的軟嫰適中，調味也剛剛好。
上面數來第二隻，那是米血，這米血應該有先滷過，軟嫩彈牙，非常好吃，其它的更不多說了，自已過去試試吧。
伙大的老闆非常貼心，攤位整理的非常乾淨，攤頭上的備料也不會放置過久而有血水，老闆為了品質會把其它未烤過的備料放在一旁的小冰箱裡，再來就是不用一般的防油紙袋裝著，而是用紙盒，就像老闆所說的【精緻路邊攤串燒】一樣，總是幫客人多想一點，晚上如果有排行程要來吃水仙官的黃記鱔魚意麵，買點串燒吧，反正都來到台南了，你的胃也不差這一個美食的位子。
